This statement sets out Cyber Universe Europe Ltd.'s actions to understand all potential modern slavery risks related to its business and to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in its own operations or supply chains. It is published in accordance with section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. The organisation is committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in all its activities and to ensuring that its supply chains are free from exploitation.
1. About the Organisation
Cyber Universe Europe Ltd. is a company registered in England and Wales (company registration number 16833900). Our registered office is Landmark House, 12 Chorley New Road, Bolton, Greater Manchester, England, BL1 4AP. We provide managed security services including 24/7 Security Operations, Managed Detection and Response, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing, Governance Risk and Compliance advisory, Cybersecurity Awareness Training, Digital Forensics, and vCISO advisory.
2. Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains include:
- Technical delivery partners: Vairav Technology Security Pvt. Ltd. (Kathmandu, Nepal), which provides SOC analysis, security engineering, and managed security functions. Vairav Technology holds the ISO 27001:2022 certification.
- Technology and cloud platform providers: including Microsoft and other SaaS providers.
- Professional services: including legal, accountancy, and administrative support.
We procure from reputable, established suppliers and take steps to understand the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within these supply chains, with particular focus on our Nepal-based delivery partner given the geographic context.
3. Policies in Relation to Modern Slavery
The following policies reflect the organisation's commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking:
- Human Resources Policy: sets out conduct and ethics standards for all employees. The Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking chapter requires all staff to report concerns and sets out the organisation's supply chain due diligence obligations.
- Recruitment Policy: the organisation uses only reputable employment channels and verifies right to work for all UK-employed staff.
- Whistleblowing Policy: all staff, clients, and partners are encouraged to report concerns without fear of retaliation.
- Supplier Relationship Policy: all suppliers are subject to due diligence at onboarding, including assessment of their own labour practices and ethical conduct standards.
4. Due Diligence and Risk Assessment
The organisation takes the following steps to identify and address modern slavery risks:
- Annual review of this statement and the Modern Slavery policy within the HR Policy.
- Supplier due diligence conducted at onboarding and annually thereafter, including review of certifications, labour practices, and contractual anti-slavery obligations.
- The partnership agreement with Vairav Technology includes explicit anti-slavery and ethical employment obligations.
- All staff complete mandatory ethics and compliance training at induction, which includes awareness of modern slavery indicators.
- Any allegation or suspected instance of slavery or human trafficking is investigated with urgency and reported to the relevant UK authorities including the National Crime Agency.
5. Effectiveness and Future Steps
The organisation will continue to assess the effectiveness of its approach and will review this statement annually. Priorities include strengthening supplier due diligence, ensuring modern slavery awareness is embedded in staff training, and monitoring developments in UK and international legislation relating to supply chain transparency.
